Every day when I sit down to paint, I get excited about color. It's a good feeling I have had all my life. Colors, next to colors, in infinite combination, vibrate on paper or canvas and makes me happy. A rich life of learning, looking, seeing and living informs my creative process and spills out into my work. When you look at my work, I want you to feel the same excitement I feel. I use acrylic, oil and pastels to create abstracts, landscapes, flowers and and occasional dog portrait.

Born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey, I studied art at Wesleyan University where studio time shared equally with literature and history. I have been a book designer, graphic designer and an advertising art director. Atlanta has been my home for 35 years.
